Skjolden is the longest fjord in Norway  and from Stavanger to Skjolden it took over 15 hours to arrive due to the terrible weathers in the sea.

Skjolden is a very quite area, there aren’t many locals in the villages because the population is low. Skjolden is also a very hard place to reach unless you have decent transports to take you over the surrounding mountains.

Skjolden is know for the waterfalls, the most famous is called Drivande Waterfall which is a very small waterfall located at the mountains can not be reached. (Image above)
